Denver Jewish Day School‘s mission is to educate Jewish students through an integrated secular and Jewish studies program to thrive in college and beyond and to act ethically and purposefully in the world. Founded in 1975, Denver Jewish Day School is accredited by the Association of Colorado Independent Schools (ACIS) and provides a combined Jewish and secular education for children in grades K – 12.
Denver JDS offers Jewish families an unparalleled community of faculty and staff. Our 21st century approach to learning prepares students to be competitive and forward-thinking leaders now and in the future. Our welcoming, inclusive environment meets students wherever they are on their Jewish journey and prepares them to think critically and act purposefully in the world.
As the only community K-12 Jewish day school in the Rocky Mountain region, Denver JDS offers a unique model for wisdom and achievement by integrating high-quality college preparatory and Jewish education in an individualized, supportive environment. Denver JDS’s unique model of an integrated secular and Jewish studies program enables its graduates to leave with the ethical and intellectual prowess to succeed in life, strong self-esteem and connection to their community, confidence and drive to demonstrate leadership with a strong moral character, and act effectively and purposefully in the world.
We serve students regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, or physical abilities, and without regard to the financial abilities of families insofar as the physical and financial resources of the school allow.
