King Soopers: One-Stop Shop for Passover

April 10, 2019

There’s no need to wander the desert for another 40 years… King Soopers has a wide selection of Passover goods to suit your taste buds. From Streit’s matzah and Manischewitz Tam Tam crackers to a red velvet flavored macaroons, the stores are all stocked and ready to go.

After speaking with Adam Williamson, King Sooper’s Corporate Affairs Manager, it was apparent that they truly to follow their mission of combining the best of both worlds: the feel of a family-drive atmosphere with the corporate support of a large grocery store. With the help from the company’s merchandise department, Williamson provided us with a list of local stores which carry Kosher for Passover goods in outlying areas, in addition to those that carry an extensive Kosher section.

While the East Side Kosher Deli has an awesome selection if you live on the east side of Denver, we know that it is not convenient for everyone. According to Williamson, every King Soopers and City Market has a Passover section.

The stores listed below have expanded Kosher meat sets, expanded Kosher sets in the aisle or both.

After checking out the King Soopers website, I got some much-needed inspiration from their featured Passover recipes.  I’d love to see these featured on Food Network’s “Guy’s Grocery Games”—the Passover Edition!

Here are a few King Soopers suggested creations:

Horseradish and Matzo Crusted Salmon

Chicken Breasts stuffed with Matzos and Cranberries

Matzo Brei with Caramelized Apples

Charoset with Pistachios and Dates
